Today was a pretty rough day. Alex could not understand why his leg is not cooperating and was very frustrated. First thing in the morning he tried to pull himself up on it and fell and started crying. He was still afraid to sit up normally, even though he sat up fine in the tub last night. He was pretty much whining all morning. Overall he was not a happy little boy! Since I am working from home as well, I wasn't being very productive because he needed me for everything. Fortunately, Grandma K. came to the rescue and took him to her house for a few hours to give him one on one attention so I could get some work done!
Anyway by this evening he was crawling around pretty good on it, and he is able to pull himself up and stand for a bit, although he is pretty wobbly. I have the kids' play table in the middle of the living room right now for him to pull up on and play on. And just now while I was writing this, he took a few careful steps with his walker from the table to me! So we're getting there.
He has also lost A LOT of weight and is very skinny. His 2T clothes are big on him, as is his diapers. I'm probably going to have to go back down a size on diapers. And it's been so long since he has seen his belly button, he calls it a 'boo boo'!

Hi! Very nice to "meet" you! Glad you decided to leave a comment today. I always enjoy getting a chance to meet new people.
I just read back quite a few posts to learn about your little guy and his leg. I bet it is a huge burden lifted to have the cast off.
Hopefully it won;t take him long before he is really using his leg and getting around :)
ps Both of your children are just beautiful!
awe poor little thing I hope his leg is back to working right in no time!
I know these days seem like they will last forever, especially when you're trying to work from home and he needs you for everything again. You have really been through it lately. Hopefully, normalcy is just around the corner! Thanks for your comments about my photography; wish we were closer so I could do a little practicing on your cuties!
